Sam Pitroda, Chairman of Indian Overseas Congress, has stokes a fresh controversy by defending Pakistan’s involvement in the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks which claimed lives of 166 innocent people. Showing sympathy for the terror-harboring nation, Pitroda has probably forgotten the hell unleashed by 10 terrorist of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Mumbai between 26-29 November, 2008.
Continuing his derogatory remarks against India, he also brushed aside the Pulwama terror attack as something which keeps happening. He also said that using planes to retaliate is not the right approach. Having said this, he has openly demeaned the surgical strike carried out by the Indian Air Force on 26 February, 2019.
It should be noted that Congress had earlier accused the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for plotting the Mumbai terror attacks despite having evidences of Pakistan’s role in the ghastly act.
